This week is the first in our month-long STEM series leading up to STEALTH! To start, we took The Pulse of Becky Ortner! Becky is the Education Coordinator for the Bettendorf Family Museum. The Family Museum offers STEM-based Webelos awards and a STEM-based overnight at the Museum! We talk with Becky about Minecraft, Statue of Liberty's, and eating chicken with Neil degrasse Tyson.
Hard to believe it has been one year! In honor of our one-year anniversary we returned to take The Pulse of Paul Kleinhans-Schulz!! Paul was our first guest on The Pulse, and it is always great to talk with him. Paul works for the Quad Cities River Bandits, so not only do we get to talk about Scout Night, we get to talk about our brand new Jersey Auction! We talk about British Television, breaking into comedy, and eating steak with Abraham Lincoln.
This week we took The Pulse of Tyler Gilles! Tyler is an Account Executive with the Quad City Mallards. The Quad City Mallards are great supporters of Scouting, and offer two Scout Nights each season. We talk to Tyler about baseball, team rivalries, and eating with Brett Favre.
Scout Night with the Mallards is March 14th!
This week we took The Pulse of Dr. Arthur Tate. Dr. Tate is the Superintendent of the Davenport Community School System. Not only does Dr. Tate have an interesting career in the military and education fields, he also has a great history in Scouting!
